AUS40 is aqueous urea solution 40%, which is Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). It is use for SCR system (Selective Catalytic Reduction), which typically found in heavy diesel engine such as marine vessel or power plant. It is a high-quality solutions designed to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions in diesel engines. These solutions are injected into the exhaust stream and react with the NOx emissions to convert them into harmless nitrogen and water vapor.
